THERE WAS THE KFG and the CKF—but the OFC, which stands for Obama Fried Chicken, has taken Chinese KFC counterfeits to a whole new level.
OFC, which has been unexpectedly showing up in Beijing neighborhoods with a Colonel Sanders-like Obama logo, has gained the attention of Chinese media and netizens this week.

Forget it, it is nothing strange for such thing to happen in China.

Besides imitating and mimicking, when will we have real innovations?

It'll be fine as long as it changes its name to UFO~~

And with all the attention that it is receiving, OFC seems to be in trouble.
A KFC China spokesperson told The Washington Post in an e-mail:
We’re considering legal action as it is a knock-off and has nothing to do with us and it infringes on our brand trademark. We find it distasteful.
But really, having an Obama KFC counterfeit is no surprise considering KFC broadcast a TV ad earlier this year in Hong Kong featuring a fake Obama. But for that, KFC said "it was meant to be a spoof and no disrespect was intended."
